Studio — iOS software

Honest software, built like it's meant to last.

Steadwright ships a small, sequential line of iOS apps — each one carried through a full research-to-release cycle, not stamped out from a template. No mechanic ships unless it gives the person using it something real back.

How we work

Every release runs the same four gates.

01

Research

Every mechanic starts from a real model, not a guess — Lexpin's review scheduler is FSRS‑6, the same published spaced‑repetition research used in serious learning tools.

02

Build

Native SwiftUI, no cross-platform shortcut that costs feel. One product gets full attention until it's actually done.

03

Test

On real devices, in the real languages the app ships in — not just the simulator, not just English.

04

Ship & hold

Pricing and limits are stated up front. If something's wrong post-launch, it gets fixed in the open, not patched quietly.

Principles

What we won't compromise on.

01

Function over manipulation

If a mechanic exists only to farm attention or spend without giving real value back, it isn't in the app.

02

Transparent by default

Pricing, limits, and the reasoning behind a design choice get said out loud, not buried in fine print.

03

Small and sequential, not mass

One product done with craft beats ten shipped fast. We build, ship, and move to the next — not five hundred at once.

04

Accountable, not anonymous

Every product traces back to a real team behind this name — not a faceless holding company, not an AI content mill.

What we're building

Built one at a time.

In development

Lexpin

An iOS vocabulary trainer built on real spaced-repetition research (FSRS-6) — intervals computed from an actual memory model, not a streak you're guilted into keeping. Six languages (English, Spanish, German, French, Polish, Ukrainian), every one of them learnable from every other.

Early development

Emberkeep

A solo 2D pixel-art RPG about rebuilding a burned fortress, one irreversible choice at a time. Anti-gacha by design — no loot boxes, no energy timers, one honest price, allies earned by what you do, not by what you roll.

PLATFORM — iOS ENGINE — Godot LOOT BOXES — 0

Early development

Fitness app (name TBD)

An all-in-one fitness app — workouts, nutrition, and a body avatar built from your own measurements. No leanness score, no "before/after" shaming — progress shown as what you can actually do, not how you look.

PLATFORM — iOS DATA — local‑first LEANNESS SCORE — 0

Groundwork

A private companion for cutting back on or stopping drinking. Build your own if-then plans, log an urge in the moment instead of from memory, and see your real patterns. Cutting back and quitting are equally valid goals, and a slip updates your plan instead of erasing your history.

PLATFORM — iOS DATA — on‑device ACCOUNT — none
Coming soon — not yet on the App Store · Details →

Groundwork is a support tool, not treatment. It does not diagnose, and it does not replace a doctor or a crisis line. Safety and help features are never behind a paywall.
