Support and Legal — Steadwright
In an emergency, call your local emergency number. We cannot respond to emergencies. Our apps are not monitored, and e-mails are not read around the clock.
Who we are
In short: one person, trading as Steadwright, publishes Groundwork.
- Publisher: an individual trading as "Steadwright" (not a company)
- E-mail: support@steadwright.net
Our apps and their documents
In short: each app has its own terms, privacy policy, safety notice and sources page.
| App | Terms and licence (EULA) | Privacy | Medical and safety | Sources and licences |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Groundwork (alcohol) | Terms | Privacy | Safety notice | Sources |
Groundwork is a self-management tracker for adults (18+). It does not diagnose, treat or cure anything, and it cannot guarantee any result. Your entries stay on your device; we cannot see them.
Getting help with an app
In short: e-mail us. We cannot see your data, so describe the problem in words.
- E-mail support@steadwright.net. Please name the app, your iPhone model and iOS version.
- Do not send health details we do not need. We cannot see your app data and never need it to help you.
- Purchases and refunds are handled by Apple: https://reportaproblem.apple.com. To get a purchase back on a new device, use "Restore purchases" in the app.
- Lost data: we cannot restore it. Only an export file you made yourself, with its recovery key, can bring it back.
Report a wrong help number or a safety problem
In short: tell us straight away; we treat it as urgent.
If a phone number or link in an app's Help section is wrong, or any text in an app could put someone at risk, e-mail support@steadwright.net with the subject "Safety", or use "Tell us about a resource" in the app's Help section. Tell us the app, the country and what is wrong. If you can, include the official source.
Report a security vulnerability
In short: e-mail us with the subject "Security". Please give us time to fix it before telling others.
If you find a security problem in one of our apps (for example, a way to read app data without unlocking App Lock, a weakness in the encrypted export, or private text showing in a notification), e-mail support@steadwright.net with the subject "Security". Please include the app, its version, your iOS version, and steps to reproduce. Please do not include anyone's real personal data.
We will acknowledge your report, keep you informed, and credit you if you wish. Please give us reasonable time to fix the problem before you disclose it publicly. We will not take legal action against good-faith research that respects people's privacy and does not harm users.
Where the law requires it (for example, the EU Cyber Resilience Act for actively exploited vulnerabilities), we will notify the competent authorities.
Response targets
In short: these are targets, not promises. We are one person.
| Type of message | Target first reply | Target fix |
|---|---|---|
| Safety: wrong help number or unsafe text | 2 working days | corrected in the next app update, submitted to Apple within 7 days of confirming the error |
| Security vulnerability | 3 working days | depends on severity; actively exploited issues first |
| Privacy request (access or deletion of e-mails we hold) | 7 days | within 30 days |
| General support | 5 working days | — |
These are targets. We will try hard to meet them but cannot guarantee them. App Store review time is outside our control.
